Two recent reviews of his work:

“From a purely technical point of view, It's a Wonderful Life is an amazing accomplishment. The set design by Doug Ellis and construction by Lynn Clark's Scenic Service Specialists are Broadway-worthy.” (The Salt Lake Tribune 12-18-05)

“You may think it unfortunate to hear that the best thing a musical has going for it is the set, but we'd be lying if we said anything to the contrary about the Provo Theatre Company's production of Big River. That's not to say that the rest of the musical was horrible -- it was just overshadowed by the amazing set.” (The Provo Daily Herald 6-16-05)
